The world has no room for cowards. We must all be ready somehow to toil, to suffer, to die. And yours is not the less noble because no drum beats before you when you go out into your daily battlefields, and no crowds shout about your coming when you return from your daily victory or defeat. - Articlesubmissions.net

Gasoline Saving Tips And Recommendations For Maximum Vehicle Performance Part 6

By:

Recently, I have been dilligently working to dig up any tried and true handlings for procuring reduced fuel consumption and I located something interesting. The tips that actually work to improve MPG also save you on extra repairs being required on your car brought on by poor driving habits.

Unless you are paying hundreds of dollars every year to maintain your car under fender to fender warranty or you have a death wish streak which aberratedly gets enjoyment from taking your crippled car to the shop and being taken to the cleaners with excessive repairs being required on your car and having your auto sit for days at the shop while you take the bus and fret about it like a father-to-be in a maternity ward then perhaps desire to use these tips. Saving cash on gas and on repairs being required on your car are cousins.

Consider what better things you could do with the money that you are wasting on excessive car problems . Go on a cruise? Get a better automobile? Install a home theater system? Absolutely there are more optimum things you can use your cash for than pouring it into your auto!

GAS SAVERS

Purchase fuel when the weather is coolest – morning or evening. When the weather is cooler, gas is densest. Consider that service station pumps measure volumes of fuel, not thickness of fuel concentration. You are charged based on the volume

Secure that gas cap. Fuel will evaporate from your automobile's fuel tank and an untightened gas cap will only facilitate this process. So make sure to tighten up that gas cap whenever you fill up your automobile.

Keep your vehicle in tune. Tuning a car that is out of tune or has failed an emissions test can boost MPG by approximately 4 percent which is not such a big deal really.. But you'll also want to watch out for worn spark plugs. A misfiring spark plug can impede a car's fuel efficiency by as much as 30%.

Ensureyou have a clean air filter. Watch it closely. When the air filter clogs with debris, dust and bugs, it causes your car to exert more effort and your car becomes less fuel efficient. Replacing a clogged air filter could improve MPG by as much as 10%. It is a good idea to have your car’s air filter looked at at each oil change.
Your automoblie is just like your body. The better it breathes, the better it runs and uses less fuel. You wouldn't run a marathon wrapped in a blanket while trying to breathe through a bath towel caked with dirt and bugs would you?

Finally, don't short cut on any car maintenance. Be serious about car care. Your car's efficiency depends on it and your family's safety does too.

Many advice are simply contradictory or wrong... Some articles recommended don't use your AC which is not very helpful if you live in Florida or it is 100 degrees in Manhattan! Then I found one article that says to keep the vehicle's windows open for city driving but to keep your AC on while on the parkways because having the windows open while driving above 55MPH causes drag which reduces MPG. Who's right? Who's wrong? Who cares? Does it improve MPG? No, probably not!

The best optimum solution to reduce your fuel consumption, with gasoline prices in the $3-4.50 range up and down over the last year or so is to sever your umbilical cord... the one that binds you to the gasoline pump and shed your chains of slavery to the oil companies and....

Convert to a hydrogen engine!
What if you never had to buy another gallon of fuel again?
Convert your fuel engine to hydrogen.
If you do a partial (hybrid) conversion then you can expect to see improved MPG of up to 30% maybe more.
If you do this and also add acetone to your gas tank (which will save you another 25% or so) then you will have improved your MPG by a combined 50%! Put in about 2-3 ounces of acetone per 10 gallons of fuel and the fuel will evaporate less easily and you reduce your fuel consumption by 25% or more.
If you do a full gas to hydrogen conversion then you will have pumped your last gallon of fuel for the rest of your life. It is really quite easy, costs next to nothing, doesn't pollute the environment and you will enjoy the pleasure of knowing that you are helping to conserve resources instead of using up more than your fair share.
